I have to postion the seat just right to avoid hitting my right knee on the center console, and I frequently hit the light switch when getting out. It was easier to get in and out of compared to a Mazda 2 and about the same as current generation Prius C. I wouldn't take anyone long distances in the rear, but I didn't expect to.
