Why the 2011 Honda CR-Z?

Exterior styling

The exterior styling is exceptional and unique. The car looks mildly exotic, with well placed curves, accents, and smooth lines. It is very different from traditional styles. The visual impression is that the CR-Z is a well-designed fun and capable car.

Handling

This is a very tossable car with good acceleration at low speeds. The stock car takes corners very well because of its lightweight and low suspension. It certainly has sports-like handling.

Interior styling

The instrument panel is well-designed. I love the abundant feedback, and feel that I am in absolute control of my car.

Why Not the 2011 Honda CR-Z?

Driving position & visibility

There is reduced rearward visibility from a horizontal bar dividing the top and bottom glass panes. However, this does block glare from rear headlights at night. The left and right blindspots are difficult to see; I highly recommend blindspot mirrors.

Rear seat room & comfort

No rear seats in the US version, which greatly reduces passenger utility. However, the storage space is much bigger than many cars in the same price range. Driver and passenger seats are otherwise adequately comfortable.
