Excellent acceleration potential and extremely smooth upshifts/downshifts. An incredible amount of power and torque available on tap, delivered smoothly and eagerly.
Very capable handling considering the size and heft of the vehicle. Corners very well with essentially no body roll. Though tuned more toward luxury than sport, the Genesis is very capable when pushed.
Extremely quiet, even with sunroof tilted. Unless pushed close to redline, ambient noise is similarly absent at both 25 mph and 85 mph.
Incredible 17-speaker 528-Watt Lexicon sound system, not unlike riding in a professional recording studio. Navigation screen is very large and clear. Technology is well integrated, with intuitive, easy-to-use controls and excellent voice recognition.
Excellent fit and finish and very solid construction, inside and out. No rattles whatsover. Blue-ish interior lighting is elegant and clear. Note that leather in the 4.6 trims is noticeably softer and higher quality than in any of the 3.8 trims.
