Reviewed: 2005 Hyundai Tucson

4dr SUV 173-horsepower 2.7L V6 4-speed shiftable automatic AWD

Why the 2005 Hyundai Tucson?

Cargo capacity

Towing was our primary reason for buying the Tucson. We needed a car capable of towing our live-in trailer but was also pleasant to drive when touring without trailer. Cargo capacity was a bonus and the drop-down rear seat arrangement excellent.

Feature availability

The rear access through the window, 12v power points in rear seat area and cargo bay, map reading lights and accessible storage in front

Handling

Positive feel in steering, positive road holding on curves despite height of vehicle, positive braking

Driving position & visibility

Height above road is right for me and seat adjustment is better for my back than sedan seating, visibility over hood is better than previous sedan
