Why the 2005 Kia Sedona?

Powertrain performance

Good power, a bit noisy and the transmission tends to downshift too low. Timing belt tensioners are dodgy, had the timong belt canged and all related service and one cam slipped a notch and trashed the interference engine

Fuel economy

poor compared to honda or toyota

Safety & braking

front brakes tend to pulse at about half worn, can be quite severe

Depreciation

severe compared to other asian brands

Conclusion

I would question the reliability, the belt tensioner issue results in catastrophic engine failure which on a car of this age generally means a complete loss. I found a cheap doner and did a transplant but I do not trust thi car and only use it locally
