Why the 2006 Lincoln Navigator?

Reliability & durability

Transmission is very fragile. Google ZF6HP26 problems. This is the german trans ford put in this truck. Very expensive to repair.

Fuel economy

With an egg under my foot I am able to achieve 11.5mpg in town and 16.5 on the hwy. Don't forget this uses PREMIUM FUEL.

Rear seat room & comfort

The rear console is a bad idea. There's no way for the kids to get to the back seat while driving.

Quietness

Air ride suspension makes a noise when pumping up the air shocks and makes a hissing noise when you turn the truck off and it lets the air out. Both noises make people ask "whats that noise"

Why Not the 2006 Lincoln Navigator?

Conclusion

I wanted a nice, safe, reliable truck for my family. Mullinax Lincoln of Cleveland TN sold me a lemon of a truck and refuses to offer any kind of help on the repairs. $2900 for transmission valve body and $800 labor.
