Why the 2014 Mazda CX-5?

Cargo capacity

The main reason I bought this car is the cargo space. I like a lot of room for stuff with the back seats up, and this is very close to the Focus s/w it replaced.

Fuel economy

The number two reason I chose this vehicle was for the gas mileage, which has so far exceeded my expectations. According to the information screen, I've been averaging between 29 and 30 mpg.

Why Not the 2014 Mazda CX-5?

Front seat support & comfort

While recently shopping for a new car for the first time in over 10 years, I found that driver's seats are now made with high sides. For me, a 5'1" female driver, this makes it a bit awkward getting in and out. Combined with the higher ground clearance of a compact SUV, it's not the ideal setup. The Mazda CX-5 is not as bad as others, but it's still an issue.
