Why the 2006 Pontiac GTO?

Powertrain performance

It has 400 HP, the power is explosive. The transmission is not quick but it is smooth. Same with the clutch. Its a big heavy loud car.

Price or payments

Dealers were trying to get rid of them, the depreciated quickly because of this.

Front seat support & comfort

Great support for the type of vehicle, Full leather seats.

Materials & workmanship

Superb materials. The interior feels solid. compartments are heavy.

Handling

For a car of this size, it handles well. When pushed to the limit is predictable. Even beyond, very easy to control power slides.

Why Not the 2006 Pontiac GTO?

Exterior styling

Nothing in particular. Its not bad, just dont buy it for its looks. Its a good looking car, but not a show stopper.

Brand reputation & image

Nothing, again. Dont buy it because its a pontiac. Buy it because its the cheapest 400HP car out there.

Audio & nav systems

The stock stereo leaves a lot to be desired in terms of sound adjustment. The speakers are ok. But to really get them to work an aftermarked HU is required.
