Why Not the 2006 Scion xA?

Reliability & durability

Multiple issues with electrical system and associated sensors. Have learned to live with check engine light on. Have also gone through a clutch in less than 50K miles

Materials & workmanship

Rattles and buzzing panels in dash, quality of material good for inexpensive car but seats poor support.

Powertrain performance

Very underpowered engine need to downshift continuously. Very loud engine once doing more than 3k RPM which is at all times when doing more than 50 MPH. On long trips can be very exhausting.

Ride smoothness

Has dramtically worsened over the past 10K miles was decent handling small car now wallows in corners, porbably needs struts and shocks eventhough only has 45K miles on odometer.

Quietness

Everthing, wind noise terrible engine noise exhausting rattles and squeaks over bumps.
