2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Love Letter

Stylish and rugged looking.

Conclusion

I have only owned this car for 5 month's but I have driven over 80,000 miles over every terrain and road condition thinkable and have not had one single issue. Subaru?s symmetrical AWD does not disappoint. I recently drove 800 miles through a storm that dropped as much as 29" of snow overnight. Where other AWD vehicles were getting stuck (including 1 Hummer), this little Crosstrek never even hinted at slowing down. This car feels much larger on the inside than it appears and there is an amazing amount of cargo space. I felt the CVT equipped version has adequate power but the manual transmission allows you to use the power more efficiently, not to mention, a blast to drive. Average fuel mileage is very acceptable at 31mpg.
The Crosstrek is a great all around vehicle that's comfortable to drive on a long trip, a blast to drive off road to get to that remote fishing lake and, a pleasure to take to the ski lift after that great snowstorm.
