It just keeps running. I have never had *any* major repairs, except scheduled maintenance.
If I try, I can easily get 40mph. Without thinking I can get 35.
I paid (with a discount) only $11000 for it brand new in 2002. I have recouped every bit of it.
It handles like a small tight car should. I can feel everything in the road. FWD makes it easier to manage on ice and snow, too.
