2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The Toyota Highlander was the first three-row vehicle offered in hybrid form, and for a decade after its 2006 model year intro it faced no serious competition. But in the past few years an increasing number of alternatives have emerged, including some plug-in hybrids and the much more expensive but... Comparison vehicle: 2017 GMC Acadia |

Mediocre 2018 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member2819 The Highlander is not a terrible car (I would have sold it already if it was), but it's just mediocre and not worth the price Toyota asks for one. It's not comfortable, the powertrain is average, towing capacity is a lie, and 3rd row seat is a joke. Cargo space... |

Toyota has built another great Toyota Highlander. 2020 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member1278 I'm not one to really put alot of interest in styling. The car looks good to me, but I wouldn't make that a deciding factor in my purchase. I must admit that I am quite happy with the Moon Dust color it has, as I don't recall ever seeing it... |

Best Bang for the Buck in this category 2018 Toyota Highlander Love Letter Member93 Surprised at how much better the AWD is compared to the FWD. With the new transmission and more powerful Direct Injection, I get better fuel efficiency on my SE AWD 2018 than I did in my LE Plus FWD 2016. I bought the '16 at the end of the year,... |
2018 Toyota Highlander SE AWD 2018 Toyota Highlander Love Letter Member93 Replaced my 2016 Highlander LE Plus FWD. No more torque steer with the AWD! The '18 AWD SE is much quieter on the highway, I think because the of the tires. Although the SE has thinner sidwalls, being 19 inch, the softer rubber soaks up alligator pavement better, even though... |

2016 Toyota Highlander LE Plus 2016 Toyota Highlander Love Letter Member93 I bought this car for 31K in November 2016, because they dropped the price so much after the '17's came out, and I didn't want the "new" transmission in the '17. |

2016 Honda Pilot Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Honda was early to the three-row crossover party with the 2003 Pilot. Unfortunately, the 2009 redesign, with its chunky exterior, plasticky interior, and trucky dynamics, removed the model from "best pick" lists. Those weren't good years for Hondas in general, as the company lost sight of the things that made... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Toyota Highlander |
2002 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member6344 This vehicle has been reliable. We bought it new, and changed oil ever 7500 miles. |

Solid overall, safe and very reliable. 2007 Toyota Highlander Love Letter Member5291 Sure the Highlander is pretty much a plain Jane, (though the 2014 is much sharper) but for a family vehicle it gets the job done. I bought this SUV because the Honda Pilot got worse mileage, wider turning radius, and had used a Highlander in the snow and it worked... |

2014 Toyota Highlander Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Toyota has been struggling to find itself. Recently revised models feature bizarre styling details and surprisingly firm suspension tuning in a bid (not terribly successful thus far) to no longer be perceived as transportation appliances. With a largish mainstream model like the Toyota Highlander, this mission gets tricky, as few... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Nissan Pathfinder |
A solid, dependable car 2009 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member5713 I am averaging 27 mpg on my 2.7L engine on my mostly highway commute. During summertime it is close to 30 and during winter it goes to about 25, with snow tires. Best MPG for a 7 passenger non-hybrid out there. |

Highlander not that high 2013 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons sasolomon Had a fairly base V6 FWD Highlander in New Orleans as a rental, a little over 5000 miles. Some nice features and engineering and some real misses as well. Depends on your priorities. |

2012 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member1278 Very pleased with my purchase. Met every expectation I had, and would purchase this car again. Undeniable quality, great ride, quiet, comfortable and good fuel economy. |
|
2008 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member5284 A bit feminine, space age looking. More car suv then truck suv. |
|
2009 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member5260 For a daily driver it was nice to be able to get a vehicle with all the space with above 20 MPG fuel rating. |
|
2011 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member5067 Compared to the Explorer it was like Cadilac v.s. a 3/4 ton truck. The Highlander is not sporty, but for 99% of our driving its fine. |
|
2011 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member5067 Reputation and history as reported in Consumer Reports is unbeatable. |
|
2011 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member88 29mpg highway, >30mpg city in hybrid trim so far |
|
2011 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member4976 No blind spots unlike most new vehicle designs. Seat adjusts high enough for small driver. |
|
2010 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member161 Lots of room in the second row, including seats that recline and move back & forth. Having the third row as an option for occasional use was really the deciding factor. |
|
2006 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member4768 Vehicle size and comfort (can easily carry 5 adults on long trips; Ride height; Interior held up extremely well on previous one. |
|
2010 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member4592 quality and coverage of extended guarantee, past history of reliability (found on web and in research on net malice the programme for maintenance and pre-fixed prices for regular check-ups |
|
2002 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member4735 Making conscious choices to drive gas-sparingly, I often get over 400 miles per fill up. |

2005 Toyota Highlander Pros and Cons Member4476 THe Toyota/JBL stereos sound muddy and generally awful. |
