67300 mi Check engine light came on. Have not yet attempted to diagnose.
67000 mi CEL Diagnostic code turned out to be vacuum leak related, possibly caused by gas tank cap. Reset the code and it has not come back.
69000 mi Check engine light came on again. No diagnosis as of yet.
70000 mi Check engine light was cleared and has not come back on for more than a month now. It did not clear itself, had to use a scan tool. Same MIL code as before, so I inspected the rubber gasket around the gas cap. It looked a little shrunken but apparently is still okay.
70550 mi Replaced gas cap again. Rubber gasket on cap had shrunk, setting off MIL.
72000 mi Check Engine Light. Checked with code reader. Indicated either purge canister solenoid valve or leak at gas cap gasket. Cleared code and has not come back in just over 400 miles as of now.
72000 mi

US $24
Code came back. Cleared the code and replaced the gas cap again, this time with a Toyota OEM part. Next time will replace just the rubber gasket on the gas cap, at a cost of about $11.00. These rubber gaskets shrink and cause a CEL on a fairly regular basis.

Hose gaskets were leaking which allowed engine oil to intrude to where spark plug coils are located. Dealer had to order part and fixed it the next day. The symptoms where a very faint smell of burning oil without any smoke from the exhaust. Couldn't figure out what the problem was. Brought it to get spark plugs changed, that's when they discovered it.
