Fun to drive. In touch with road. Rare car w/manual transmission.

Past personal experience

All VWs owned in past have handled well, been durable, and large enough inside to accommodate tall people. All have been very economical of fuel.

Controls and instruments

Simple, clean, logical controls. Easy to use and not cluttered

Powertrain performance

Great torque. Not fussy. Outstanding drivability

Fuel economy

Decent economy. Only cars w/ better mileage would have been slugs to drive.
