A handsome car from the front quarter, but not its best angle.

The BMW appears sportier from the front. Fiercer face, longer hood. Volvo's windshield more raked.

Great curves. Striking and lovely from the rear quarter, especially in this color with these wheels.

BMW's interiors tend to be both busier and more severe, even with red stitching.

The vent to the right of the display looks like a last-minute addition, jars my sense of aesthetics.

Much cushier than BMW seats, yet also properly supportive. I do wish the headrests were adjustable.

Rear seat room was not a top design priority.
