1999 Acura TL

Engine not specified

213500 mi US $2150 Replaced front and side motor mounts
94000   It does need a new oil pan, according to PepBoys. They wanted $300 for that, but I decided to sell the car to a relative and leave the oil pan to her.
219000   Clear EGR Channels in intake maniflod Replaced thermostat
181000 US $32 Replaced defective ignition switch. (Had previously been replaced under recall 10 years ago.) This is a common problem in late 90s Honda/Acura (same switch failed in 1997 CR-V for us).
190000   Another ignition coil went bad. Typical with age though--estimated this coil fired about 640 million times. Good lifespan! Going to replace the remaining four once funds permit.
206000   Code P1457, evap canister leak. Common problem near fuel tank with rusting parts (solenoid, etc.). Did not fix--car lost in flood on Aug. 11 2014.
156000 US $75 EGR valve was bad.
