82700 mi US $2800 Synchros wore out in transmission, couldn't shift into 2nd Gear w/o grinding. It is a common problem for this tranny with miles. Cost to repair nearly the same as cost to replace. Replaced with new tranny. Also replaced clutch for normal maintainence.
91000   Rear Brake Caliper developed a fluid leak. Brake Caliper was replaced. IAT/MAP Sensor plastic was cracked, sensor and vehicle operated normally, replaced sensor anyways.
111000   ABS warning light came on. Front passenger side wheel bearing wore out and was replaced. Replaced in 15-20 mins. Driver door latch sticking and working intermittenly. Shut door and it would bounce back and wouldn't close. Also, couldn't open with either handle. Removed door trim and latch assembly, cleaned and lubricated. Problem solved.
112000   Transmission blew up again! 12 months and just under 30k later brand new tranny tore itself apart. Output shaft possibly broke and destroyed gears. Removed tranny, opened case and metal chunks fell out. On to tranny #3, replacing with FORD!
112000   Passenger rear brake caliper developed fluid leak causing very long brake pedal and not much braking power. Seal had deteriorated. Replaced brake caliper.
112000   Slide pin in driver rear brake caliper seized and wouldn't allow brake to release. Burned up brake pad and did a number on the rotor. Couldn't extract slide pin from bracket, replaced rear driver caliper again.
116000   Some paint peeling and surface rust forming on rear decklid by left reverse light. I pulled the light out and found seal insufficient to keep water out of joint bt inner structure and outer body. Sanded area down, primed, re-painted. Also added new seal. Intercooler pump has stopped working. Replacement pump ordered, yet to be installed.
124000   Driver door sagged and began rubbing front fender during opening and closing. Occurred during extreme cold temps 4-20 degreesĀ°F
129700   Left front wheel bearing wore out, needed to be replaced.
140000   Another transmission bites the dust. On to number 4. All kinds of issues on this one. A gear actually came loose on a shaft and was being pushed up against the casing. intercooler pump failed
