285-horsepower 5.3L V8 4-speed automatic RWD

126000 mi US $600 Car was making rattling noise caused by AC belt tensioner banging against stops. Broke 2 belts and 1 tensioner. Finally replaced AC compressor twice. The first one leaked from the parts store. New Comp, new belt, new tensioner.  
226000 US $2000 Replaced compressor, evaporator core (dash removal), freon and oil 
162000 US $20 Dash lights went out while driving on a dark highway at night. Research indicated likely the dimmer switch. Found one like new at a salvage yard for $20 and replace it myself. Problem solved!

113460   A/C needed a recharge again due to a small leak, which was found and previously sealed in Aug2012. Dollar value is only for that repair, not regular maintenance.
