Chevrolet TrailBlazer Real Gas Mileage: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2005 4dr SUV 275-horsepower 4.2L I6
4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range
It weighs over 4,000 lbs. Can't say much more. Worst 13 mph, best, 20 MPH. Count on 15 -16. I commute over 60 miles per day and was ready to get rid of it when Gas looked like it was going over the $4.00 mark. Lucky for me its back down to around. 2.30-2.40. I can live with that for all the positives it has had.
Chevrolet TrailBlazer Real Gas Mileage: Cons

2007 4dr SUV 291-horsepower 4.2L I6
4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range
Avg. 15.5 in mostly in town driving. 21.0 best on long trip with light load.
2005 4dr SUV 275-horsepower 4.2L I6
4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range
Fuel economy, if you get more the 18 mph, congradulations you have beaten the odds. Good thing it has a big tank.
2004 4dr SUV, ext. 290-horsepower 5.3L V8
4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range
16 mpg nothing to write home about, but acceptable for a vehicle of this size, weight and capability.
2002 4dr SUV 270-horsepower 4.2L I6
4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range
I recently purchased slightly larger tires and my fuel economy is suffering by 10% compared to stock tires, but I was anticipating this anyway.
