The cold weather has revealed that 4 of the wires in the rear window defroster are not functioning.
21000 mi
As I previously reported, 4 grids in rear window defroster were dead. Entire window, with grids, was replaced by dealer. I assume it works ok now, but weather has been such that no defogging has been necessary.
1240 mi
Right Power Sliding Door sometimes will not close after it is open. When hit close switch, it will make a tick tick tick sound and not close. Have to manually close it and sort of reset itself until a week or 2 later, might happen again

Replace defective 2nd row heated seat.
23560 mi
Power Door Lock
35960 mi
C $220

The buttons that open the passenger side slider door weren't working. The door could only be opened by pulling the handle, then the electric slide function did the rest. The dealer said it ended up being a part and a programming issue.

Repair not successfull.
18000 mi
reflash for sliding power doors
61152 mi
C $500
Air condition rear vaporizer was replaced at 68000 km.
22940 mi
C $310
Rear condenser failure which I found is a common problem because of poor engineering. The part is situated behind the rear wheel well and salt is thrown on the part during the winter, causing it to corrode prematurely. The same problem will happen again in about three years time, for a cost 0f $800.00 each time. I had them cut the front line leading to the rear A/C and then cap the front lines. Had it recharged and the front A/C works fine, but no A/C for the rear. Chrysler would not cover the cost.
60700 mi
US $400
Driver side power window failure. Very poor design. The entire door assembly and guts needed to be removed and I do mean 100%. the window is wedged in the up position. Parts to fix are only $55 but labor is expected at ~3 hours for a professional.
7000 mi
Heated steering wheel quit functioning. Bad clockspring in steering wheel.
17000 mi
Nav/audio/Bluetooth system freezing
29000 mi
The entire dashboard and electronics suite went dead at 80 mph on the highway. Restarted itself about 20 seconds later. Scary.
34900 mi
Blind spot monitor malfunctioned. Caused compete electrical fritz. Wipers, turn signals, radio; everything went crazy. Sensor replaced, all is well.
38700 mi
US $418
All electrical. The wire to the main control box had been worn through. It was less than 100 miles out of warranty. Nothing electrical is covered under the 100k warranty. Nothing would work, not the spedometer, radio or odometer.
1240 mi
Backup camera was inoperative at time of delivery - head unit replaced (uConnect)
36800 mi
Replace rear evaporator coil
37700 mi
Intermittent groaning not related to any action such as braking, accelerating, turning, etc. Chrysler bulletin - Starcase #S1324000030 described noise. Replaced front and rear A/C expansion valves and seals. >36000 mi but warranty covered.
67000 mi
US $250
Replaced leaking under body A/C-Heater line bundle. Cost estimate was $900. Dealer originally said Chrysler would not cover this repair. I insisted that they ask since I had had earlier A/C problems (see prior post) and Chrysler did agree to cover subject to owner $250 deductible. If I hadn't pushed this I would have been stuck with the whole bill!
41300 mi
Rear ac wasn't working
1500 mi
Month-old van failed to start in the morning due apparently to weak battery. Clipped on my motorcycle battery trickle charger for a few hours. Van started fine. Had dealer check systems. Found no problem, dealer reset low voltage fault.
Rear blower was making a fluttering/bearing noise. Replaced rear blower.
10600 mi
Replace 2 "O" rings in AC block.
9920 mi
Rattle in Vent system when blowing downwards. Dealer found damaged and malfunctioning baffles inside the dash. Parts ordered and replaced.
20900 mi
Heater had two problems 1) Heat would not work reliable unless turned to AC 2) Fan no longer "blasting" on high. 1) Seems fixed 2) Was not fixed, no solution found by dealer (it was the same on other vans in the lot)
54560 mi
C $600
AC failed. Leak in lines going to the rear. Cost was to disable the rear by capping off the lines and recharging.
12000 mi
Intermittent wipers would shut off. The problem was sporadic snd was not happening when taken in to the dealer. They said the info was not stored and could not find the cause. Suggestion was to take it in while it was happening.
