26000 mi   Air bag light remained on during operation of car - repaired by dealership. 
36000   Replaced seat belt assembly to correct air bag light on passenger side 
36000   New shocks on all 4 wheels at Hyundai's expense and offering. Ride was becoming increasingly bouncy and wallowing-a real concern at higher speeds. Afterwards we saw immediate improvement but the firmness was soon gone. The car was back to its old ways.

41000 mi   car will intermittently not start. Attempted to jump, no luck. Waited a few hours and car started. Drove to dealership..."Unable to replicate". 
42000   car will intermittently not start, battery not the problem. Car will start after waiting various lengths of time. Dealer unable to replicate. Will trade in this vehicle when no longer upside down. picked car up from dealer, drove for a few hours, car would not start. Waited a while, car started, drove back to dealer. They ran diagnostics, stated car checked out "fine", unable to replicate prob.

52000   unable to open hood using hood release. splash guard (x2) underneath car dragging ground on trip (first one on way to Texas, 2nd one on way back from Texas) Had same problem previously and covered under warranty at dealer in VA. Dealer in KS would not cover under warranty.  replaced cable that opens hood. Replaced both although only one was broken because other cable was "looking rough" per dealer  brakes squealing despite new pads. Returned to Meineke and told pads were worn after only couple of months. Replaced under lifetime brake pad warranty - told "probably a bad day at the factory or might need new rotors - time will tell" 
54000   Crack noted in dash around front passenger airbag. Part ordered Took car to different dealership for broken splash guards x2.  Dash replaced due to crack around passenger airbag.  Splash guards replaced x2

33000   Windshield wiper blades inoperable. Adjusted and tightened bolt which allows wiper blade arm to be driven by motor. 
34000   CEL, ABS light on. Computer code showed a defective wheel sensor which was ordered and then installed the following week. Everything normal now. 
42000   No A/C only hot air blowing.Defect in compressor causing short and blow out fuse. Removed and replaced A/C compressor

28000 US $700 Driver's door seal deteriorated. Outside door handle broke off when opening.  Driver's door seal replaced.

32000   Accelerator pedal malfunctioned, stopping the car dead. Check engine and skid control lights flashing.  Dashboard cracked at passenger airbag indentation. Dashboard replaced. Electrochromatic rearview mirror on darkest tint and would not return to normal. Mirror replaced. 
36000   Undercarriage dirt/heat shield came loose and dragged on the ground then caught on the road and ripped apart. Banging and popping from front suspension. Installed new struts and bushings Problems with steering, clanking from steering shaft and entire steering wheel/shaft loose.

43000   Installed another new set of struts after replacements went bad. Excessive wallowing and float, and knocking noises. Rear automatic sunshade broke (2nd time).

27900 mi   Mechanic noted play in rf ball joint during test drive. Repaired. Clunk in rear like two by fours hitting together when going over a deeper road indentation like a recessed sewer cover. 
31620   recliner switch on passenger power seat not working all the time. internal short in power switch and part ordered. 
35340   Whistling noise traced to pulley-idler that had a faulty bearing causing the noise. Idler pulley replaced and problem corrected. 
39060   Clunking noise from the rear suspension when going over severe potholes. Problem loose dust boots on shocks. Dust boots secured and vehicle now quieter than when new. Dealer sent in a report to Hyundai Canada. 
47120   ticking noise when cold. Dealer performed a TSB timing chain tensioners. Did not correct problem. Going back and leaving vehicle until it is repaired. 
48360   Ticking noise when cold was caused by piston slap. Dealer installed a new engine block under warranty. 
63240 C $250 TPS unit faulty-replaced and ECU updated 
93620   Rear sway bar bushings replaced to eliminate clunking noise.
