Rubber air intake hose was split due to age. The rubber piece is not available separately, so I replaced the entire assemble that consists of the plastic and rubber hoses between the air filter and air flow sensor.
133400 mi

US $400
Secondary timing chain tensioners were failing. This is a known problem for the early VQ40 engines. I replaced both secondary tensioners and all 3 chains. Same repair was done under warranty by previous owner at 35k miles in 2008.
135588 mi

US $500
Had a hard start / high idle issue, plus I got a check engine light that said one of the 4 catalytic converters was bad. Ended up replacing all 4 oxygen sensors and all 6 fuel injectors (which fixed the check engine light - cat was fine). The high idle / hard start issue was fixed by tracking down vacuum leaks (new intake gaskets and PCV hoses), cleaning throttle body (buildup near throttle plate was causing problems), and performing the idle air volume learning procedure.
