Engine replaced due to piston slap.
Defective valve spring replaced. Sounded horrible, like it was having a really hard time running, as if not getting enough air. Even died on me several times (during my troubleshooting, I
wasn't driving it after the initial "Check Engine" light came on). Defective valve spring replaced again the next day while visiting family, so second dealer. First dealer had left piece of plastic, approximately 2 in x 1/2 in, underneath the valve spring, causing it to bend and therefore malfunction.
Valve spring broke, also causing the #7 intake runner to have a leak. Everything was fixed under warranty.
Engine Timing Chain. The chain was stretched and needed to be replaced. Was under warranty.
Ignition key was worn out causing the the key to not turn to the off position to remove the key. Currently using the sapre key and have had no issues.
Engine light went on. Was able to quickly fix the gas cap problem.
Service engine soon came on for emission issue. This was due to a faulty gas cap. This was previously replaced, but found the replacement was the INCORRECT gas cap! Dealer also cleared the service engine code.
CEL, stretched timing chain. TC replaced by dealer.
