felt rotors were warped. Told to replace front pads and resurface rotors.
Master Brake Cylinder replaced under warranty. Check Brake light came back on again after repair and caliper replaced second time.

Purchased as a GM "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle. Rotors warped at time of purchase. Dealer had NOT yet completed CPO inspection at time vehicle was purchased. Previous owner had rack & pinion completely replaced and alignment performed.
There was a leak from the left rear brake caliper. This was covered under my GMPP warranty. I also required rear brakes which was not covered under warranty.

Parking brake intermittently makes loud breaking sound and pedal goes all the way to the floorboard, like a cable/spring snapped. Brake properly engages when depressed and reset again. Happens about 1 time per 30 depressions of the pedal.

broken parking brake cam assembly repaired on last visit but then the parking brake cable snapped later in the day. Occurred during a trip so return to repair shop had to wait a week. Parts ordered, waiting on trip #4 to finally get this resolved! final repair trip to resolve issue of parking brake not holding. TO recap- broken cam, parts ordered and replaced (2 trips) then cable snapped. Cable ordered and replaced (2 more trips). Required 4 trips total for this issue.

"BRAKE FLUID" message on dashboard display - usually caused by low brake fluid. Technician found that the right rear brake caliper had a "slow leak". Fixed by replacing the caliper. Fluid topped off and brakes bled. Problem fixed. Shake / Vibration in steering wheel when braking. Most noticeable when slowing from highway speeds. Fixed by "turning" the rotors.

Rotor bolt fell out when driving. Bolt installed to hold rotors on
Brakes had been squeaking since about 7,000 miles. First two trips in they could not duplicate problem. I called Saturn 800 number and brought car to the shop. Magically they were able to duplicated the probem and lube and shim behind pads and fix issue.
Brakes were making noise, dealer machined rotors, replaced brake pads,car is 18 months old, did not charge for any of the repairs.
Rear pads & rotors replaced for 2nd time since purchase. Severe uneven wear on driver side. Stock rotors were junk & so were aftermarkets from CarQuest. I put NAPA lifetime parts this time since it appears to be a defect that will repeat.
I haven't had it checked out yet but I have read that warped rotors are a problem with this model and when I hit the brakes I get a pulsing sound, different than when the anti-lock brakes are activated, so I think that the rotors are warped

The turn signals did not work correctly: Left signal had to be held down to activate, the right signal would not turn off after turning the corner

ABS engaging randomly then ABS & Traction warning lights came on. Front L/H ABS tone ring corroded and broken, hub replaced because tone ring is an integral part of hub.

Rotors machined due to warp. See Saturn Fans (Aura)for discussion on problem. Service improved the situation but did not eliminate the problem. Will address the issue again at next service.

"Rotors out of round" Front and rear brake rotors refinished.
Machined rotors. Rotors begin pulsating after a few weeks and need machining. Stock rotors are too small and weak for the task.
Excessive wear on rotors for mileage. Rotors were machined during a May service but were pulsating.
Dealer replaced rotors under warranty.
Chronic front rotor ware. Rotors required machining or replacement twice a year for the 4 year term of the lease. GM accepted responsibility for the problem and in most cases covered repairs under warranty.
