Also had to replace front u-joint on transmission to transfer case driveline.
u-joint propeller shaft replaced.
hydraulic clutch hose failed, car had to be towed, hose was replaced with new part.
rear axle seal leak.
replaced seal...no problems now!
Loud Hum from the right rear wheel was the wheel bearing. Complete Hub assembly was around $700 plus install and was covered by dealer cause it was the first rear bearing they had done.
Was experiencing the manual gear shifter rattling when in 3rd gear. This was fixed per a TSB that addressed the issue.
At a traffic light, I noticed that the manual transmission shifter would not go into any gears. The car was towed, under warranty, to the local dealer. They found that the shifter cable was removed. This was reattached and a clip added.
3rd gear shift lever buzz fixed by TSB. At the same time I also had the dealer install the 2008/2009 5th gear to improve fuel economy and reduce engine noise.
Rear differential went out while I was driving home. Had car towed to regular mechanic,who diagnosed the problem.Found out covered under warranty, had car towed to dealership,where there is a 5-10 day wait to receive the part.
Universal with drive-shaft changed ($250) one hours labour ($80)
U joints seized on the driveshaft propellor. Driveshaft needed full replacement. Covered under a third party warranty. This is not an unusual occurrence going by what the dealer said and suzuki forums. Unique to SX4 with 4 wheel drive.
Transmission fluid leak from main seal on right side. Transmission seals replaced with parts ordered by dealer.
Rear differential leaking oil due to 2 bad seals. Fixed for free using 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
