A total of 34 suspension repairs to 2007 Volvo XC90s--an average of 0.3 per
vehicle--have been reported.
It has been a knocking when going over rough road at low speeds. It sounds like the knocking comes from the front right side of the car. Front LH & RH bushings have been replaced.
Troubleshooting has been carried out to find out the knocking sound coming from the front wheel at low speed, finally they found the Insulator of the LH front wheel spring was damaged and causing this sound, same replaced, test drive done,OK
noise & vibration with steering....resevoir replaced due to some kind of debris in it.
Noise from wheel - Replace R/F wheel bearings
stabilizer link replaced
FEAD belt broke due to degraded tensioner pulley. Replaced tensioner pulley and accessory pulley.
Replace passenger side front ball joint that was loose.
Can't remember exact part. Tech found worn steering system bushings as part of the multi point inspection as part of the LOF. Replaced under Volvo's VIP warranty fixed at the same time as the lock module replacement (problem 1 of Trip 1).
Bushings in steering / suspension for the front wheels. This would have been a $1200 if I didn't have the extended warranty (only had a $100 copay).
