1999 GMC Yukon 4-door

8-cylinder automatic 2WD

US $100
Hard shifting from 1st to 2nd gear, was told it's normal on GM transmissions and it needs a new valve body for $1100.
86000 mi

US $400
To address a hard 1-2 shift, I replaced the fuel filter, air filter, changed the transmission fluid and filter, and dropped the 1-2 accumulator and changed the big spring which was worn. Not entirely successful as didn't replace accumulator.
