Car was throwing emissions and MAP/MAF general fault codes. K&N Filter caused fouling of MAF sensor, previously replaced in December. "Gross Emissions Leak" error code intermittently came on. Replaced with factory gas cap (top recommended fix) and retested. Code came back, replaced Purge Valve Solenoid for EVAP canister / system. Dirt had gotten in the valve and prevented proper operation. Somewhat common on the GMs from this generation, both pickup and SUV. Pickup has a relocate kit available from the dealer to remedy permanently. Light has not come on again, yet. There has not been a cold enough day to test the system since the repair was completed
