The transmission has a grinding sound all the time.We filled it with a thick transmission oil. It didn't help. I will need to replace the transmission ( miles 141,000) or get rid of the car. 
141000 mi I bought an used MT transmission, went to the transmission shop and I was told this purchased transmission is defective,so I gave up for now and the car is still here on the parking...

Bought an used transmission for US$500, the mechanic put in in the car, used the pressure plate and the clutch from the new ( used) transmission, changed the transmission oil and the engine oil, and the car works fine...
