But he said the electrical problem that was causing the cab light to go crazy and the speedometer to read wrong and also drains the battery was something else and he would have to have the truck longer, so right now my husband puts it on the battery charger every night so it will start in the morning.

139000 mi

We are still trying to fix the problem we have been having for months. We had a guy looking at it that used to work for GM and he said he knew what the problem was and he could fix it etc. I know why he isn't working for GM anymore, it did run and work like it was supposed to for about a week and then it started running rough and the battery started going dead and the instrument panel started appearing in french and spanish and I think german. So I think we will take it back to another shop:(
141000 mi

US $300
We were having all kinds of problems with the truck, we had to replace the battery twice, the speedometer was not working as well as everything else on the instrument cluster. We took the truck to a local shop and the mechanic pulled out the cluster, We sent the instrument cluster to a guy that was recommended to us on eBay. The cluster was completely restored and returned to us the same week. Great guy who I would highly recommend, even called me and explained everything he did and said it should take care of all of our problems. The mechanic put it back in the truck and checked everything out and so far it is running great.
