2004 Dodge Grand Caravan 4dr Minivan, ext.

180-horsepower 3.3L V6 4-speed automatic FWD

80600 mi Apparently linkage from auto transmission selector was not quite engaged and after 20 km it went into neutral during acceleration and the computer showed error which was the transmission shift module or something similar. It faulted as the power to the module is cut when car is in neutral so there might be a sticking cable from the drivers control stick to the auto transmission. I was able to drive the van normally after making certain the transmission is engaged correctly without any trouble. It os possible that a long winter in which vehicle was driven little allowed the linkage to stiffen and not engage as it ought to. We shall see as a replacement of this module is more than the vehicle is worth.
