US $110		 random occurence of "dead battery" non-start, replaced major cables and starter as battery was new, alternator checked OK, Dodge Intrepid forum thread has details

US $250		 Replaced alternator and battery. Battery was 1 yr old but parts store tester said it was bad. Was unable to charge battery and test it myself as daughter had car 100 miles from here.
