Replaced bad ignition coil on plug assembly, and all spark plugs. (3 broke in half while taking them out, requiring additional labor and a special tool to remove the failure prone poorly designed OEM plugs) Caster Camber adjustment kit had to be installed in order to get vehicle to align within specifications. Alignment, and wheel rotation. Replaced right front hub bearing. Replaced leaking left rear axle half-shaft seal. Replaced right front hub bearing. Replaced leaking left rear axle half-shaft seal. Caster Camber adjustment kit had to be installed in order to get vehicle to align within specifications. Replaced seals, o-rings, and plugs inside transmission valve body and harsh shifts were eliminated. Loud squeal and hesitation when accelerating under medium to heavy load when up shifting from 5th gear to overdrive. Exact symptoms as TSB on ZF6HP26 overdrive clutch pack failure. Requires transmission removal to fix, 12hrs labor and big $$

Rough downshifts from 2-1. Valve body replaced. Google ZF6HP26 problems. Its a German transmission not Ford. Common problem with no help from Lincoln dealer that sold it to me. $3700. Dealer fixed after bought it back. AC clutch would chirp when engaging. New AC clutch installed $618 for new AC clutch. Dealer fixed after bought it back.
