Replacing the rack will cost $1000 for the remanufactured part if I do it myself, and around two grand at the dealer.

Car was purchased from reputable dealer at 40K miles. Car was on lift for front tire replacement. Tech noticed lug nut missing and corroded/cracked front left coil spring. Replacement for both front coil springs estimated at $550.

Dec 2017 60000 mi	Prior engine rebuild performed at 55K miles consumed 1 qt. oil per 450 miles, continuing after break-in period was completed. Car was shipped back to the engine builder to have the motor rebuilt again under the engine builder's warranty. During rebuild, builder noted that the top compression ring on each cylinder showed abnormal wear (likely defective part). They also preemptively replaced valve guides.

May 2011 19000 mi	The driver seat height adjusting mechanism was running down beyond its limit and popping when reaching the end of its threads. The seat lowering mechanism was replaced. The horn stopped functioning properly. It was explained that the horn gets replaced often due to its location being very wet from rain and car washes. The horn was replaced. There is a rattle behind the passenger seat which maybe the hatch. It seems to become less obtrusive when the body is hot and the hatch is adjusted. The technician was not able to replicate the noise.
