What was diagnosed as a possible broken body weld turned out to be a stripped upper rear shock mount bolt that is attached to the top of the rear shock tower. It had apparently been stripped during diagnostic work and lead to a rattling over bumps as the top of the shock was not tight against the tower. After I diagnosed this, I replaced the top shock bushings for good measure, repaired the stripped stud and my rattle when going over bumps that had plagued me for 7 years and trips to the dealer and body shops for a fix has now been corrected. |

After 3 trips to Nissan dealer they could not repair my front tire wear problem. I finally gave up and purchased an after market suspension and had it insatalled at another shop. I found out this has been a common problem with Nissan Z cars |
