Part cost over $100, shop supplies and 1 hour labor - $300. Bucking, near to complete stall when slowing or stopping. Poor acceleration, slow then jackrabbit burst of speed (auto transmission). Burning 2 quarts of oil/month, blue smoke emission noted. Oil on wires around engine. Top off oil or else. Bucking, stalling upon stop, low idle. Carbon blowout treatment given, power restored to engine. Mechanic suspects headgasket replacement needed. Hard to find someone that knows what he's doing. Dealer shop doesn't know, either. Expensive parts. Trading it in no matter how much I love the car - ridiculous amount of major $$$ repairs :( |
