Check Emissions Light on w/SH-AWD, DTC P2263. DIY changed out VGT End Rod on turbo flow actuator. After about 100 miles light. And back w/same DTC P2263. Shop checked for Vacuum leaks, check sensors, map,turbo boost, evap etc, no trouble found. Changed turbo flow boost actuator as linkage loose and rod had play. Car has been driving good, no turbo boost trouble, great acceleration. Dealer quoted $10k to replace turbo, 2 other local mechanics checked turbo for leaks, cracks, etc no trouble found. Thousands of YouTube, acurazine blogs, social media comments same trouble after 100k and 10 years +. Many fixed with end rod swap as wears out of shape causing slack in link or diaphragm in westgate/turbo flow boost actuator tears. |
