2011 Mitsubishi Lancer 4dr Sedan

turbocharged 291hp 2.0L I4 6-speed automated manual AWD

49600 mi Rear differential making loud whining sound. Used metal conditioner hoping to solve the issue. Still under observation. Update: the metal conditioner didn't help. Apparently what happened was the rear diff oil seal worn off causing oil from ayc mixed with rear diff oil.  Installed new (reconditioned) rear differential.
