Manufacturer recall on fuel injectors and rods. A week before receiving letter from Audi on recall, my car wreaked of gas, engine light was on, and engine riding rough. Dealer refused to pay for tow to dealer, so I had to. Concurrent with faulty fuel injector and horrid gas smell with engine light requiring tow to dealer, I was told cooling system/thermostat had shorted out. I had to pay for diagnostics and repair of $300. Was told this was unrelated 2 recall

Problem resolved. Driving back from florida, car stalled at light then began running very rough. Took to Audi of Charleston SC. Was told bad wire and spark plug as car was running on 5 cylinders. Replaced ignition wire and spark plug and problem corrected
