turbocharged 188hp 1.6L I4 6-speed shiftable CVT FWD

17000 mi

US $120
Battery completely drained after 1 hour of parking. Able to jump started but it took several try (Battery totally empty). I replaced the battery with a new one.
2000 mi Dead battery, would not hold charge. Towing and replacement covered by Nissan.
7000 mi Would not pass inspection because no computer interface info. Turned out shipping battery save switch never turned "on" at delivery. Dealer fault! PS, this kept A/C from remembering last "on" setting for 2 years! Also kept lock "beep&#
9000 mi Wouldn't start; first analysis was push button start module. Upon further time at dealer BCM had failed (the brain of the car). Had to get part from Dallas. Part, loaner car and towing on warranty thankfully, otherwise costly. Keep car??
37000 mi Battery does not always charge properly resulting in dead battery.Dealer unable to locate problem.I am an Electrical/Controls engineer.I suspect issue is with software controlling charger based upon numerous observations of charging pattern.
