46000 mi Car was leaking oil from the timing chain cover gasket. Spotted by my regular mechanic, taken to dealer to fix under powertrain warranty. Oil leak was not visible under the car because of the location of the leak. Dealer confirmed leak with dye and corrected problem at no charge to me.

Engine light came on. Purge solenoid failure. Replaced purge solenoid and cleared code. 
10000 mi Engine has been consuming oil. About 6 quarts in the first 9k miles. They changed the oil, and started a consumption test. It has to go back in 1k miles. 
13000 mi The car was consuming oil, and arrived at the dealer at least 2 quarts low (in less than 1k miles). Dealer replaced both heads due to valve guide issues. 
16000 mi Engine continued to consume oil. Chevrolet authorized the replacement of the entire engine this time.
