2013 Ford Fiesta 4dr Sedan

120-horsepower 1.6L I4 6-speed automatic FWD

4000 mi grinding sound when accelerating
42200 mi Vehicle developed a shudder when starting from a stop and in low gears. Dealer updated firmware on Transmission Control Module.
77000 mi Sensor failure
30000 mi A seal had broken in the transmission causing fluids to mix. This was causing shuddering when starting off from a light and jolting acceleration.
50000 mi The 2013 Fiesta is prone to a shuddering and power loss problem that Ford has yet to recall. I was having this problem, the dealer reprogrammed the ecu. The TSB has already been applied earlier and nothing has helped for long.
78800 mi worn bearing in a transmission had to be replaced. Also shuddering at low speeds still occurs, Ford still unwilling to do anything about it.
94000 mi clutch replaced, caused by shuddering of the faulty transmission. Also ecm flashed. Shuddering is gone. For good? Hope so.

36000 mi Shuddering under acceleration, hesitation, poor acceleration and improper gear selection. Software was updated, issue not resolved.
43000 mi Shuddering under acceleration, hesitation, poor acceleration and improper gear selection. Clutch replaced. Profuse shaking. Previous clutch replacement made car unusable. Clutch had to be replaced, again as the installed unit was badly deffective.
57000 mi Transmission shudders on acceleration, makes grinding sounds. As with all previous attempts to mitigate this issue it was not successful. The dealer is offering no further solutions and has refused to replace the transmission.
80000 mi The car began making a terrible ratcheting sound and moving sluggishly. The computer said the transmission needed to be serviced. It was towed to the Ford dealer and the computer was replaced.
19500 mi Recall and reprogram of transmission computer
