Car went in for maintenance, including a brake fluid replacement. Came back with a broken parking brake pedal (just the pedal. Was not broken last time it was used or when the car was detailed in the Fall). One service person and a mechanic said they had never seen this on a C-Class, the other said it was common. One said it might be because the parking brake wasn't used much, the other said it was because it was used a lot. Ultimately, Mercedes refused to cover some or all of the costs. |
