Compressor for the rear suspension failed, resulting in the rear of the car dropping completely to the bump stops. There was no advance warning, no error message on the dash. Dealer claimed that the rear shocks were both leaking and that the pump ran itself to death, but there were no indications this was the case from my perspective - no pump constantly running noise, no markings on the garage floor from leaky shocks. $2400 to get it "fixed". |
