Cooling system: water pump leaking. Replaced water pump, thermostat, two return pipes. 75,000 mile service and three new tires (one had been replaced fairly recently due to puncture).
PCV valve/oil separator replaced. Covered under Audi Limited Extended Warranty (unknown to me until my local independent mechanic looked at it). 10 days in the shop due mostly to lack of staff at dealer.
Urea reservoir pump inoperable and required replacement. Part unavailable for six working days. This is a component of the TDI AdBlue system; once inoperable the vehicle can be driven for only a short period. Once this mileage length is exceeded, vehicle can no longer be started due to excessive emissions.
Both turbos failed, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere. Car was just over warranty period. This was a known issue with this engine. Audi US gave extended warranty coverage for this Audi Canada did not. Took 2 weeks to get parts I was very unhappy with Audi Canada but they didn’t care. My wife and I had an S5 and an S7 , now we have no Audi’s at all.

A complete piston kit was installed, they replaced a bunch of hoses and lines, did an alignment and a few other things. All under warranty and I'm told it would have been $15K otherwise as they pulled the motor right out.

Shortly after getting the car back, the starter failed. The Audi techs came to my house and got it to kick over by bouncing it up and down. They then took it to the dealer and replaced the starter. Caused by static fault in passenger side engine mount. Also replaced engine mount. Damage to intake camshaft spacer. Dropped engine / tranny. Replaced intake camshaft, rocker arms and camshaft actuators.
On separate occasions system displayed warnings and required to be completely shut down and restart to resolve. First was warnings about limited functionality with the transmission. Second was a fault with the start/stop feature.
Diagnosis found ECM and TCM in locked state, tech could not perform diagnostics or follow test plans. Replaced main relay and ECM and TCM no longer in locked state - no further faults.

Start-stop system failure. Error message/warning presented Previously required significant diagnostic and labor to correct. No fault found this time and problem has not recurred. However, this does call into question the reliability of this system.

My A7 had to be towed to Audi WPB because of a thermostat failure that rendered the car inoperable. It was repaired within a day under warranty. Fortunately, as the repair would've cost over 1800. For a thermostat.

The radiator for the supercharger intercooler had a pin hole leak that was probably caused by a small stone on the highway. I bought a new radiator and replaced the leaking unit and then refilled the coolant.
The thermostat failed (physical failure can be seen on the valve). I also preemptively replaced the water pump.

Manufacturer recall on fuel injectors and rods. A week before receiving letter from Audi on recall, my car wreaked of gas, engine light was on, and engine riding rough. Dealer refused to pay for tow to dealer, so I had to. Concurrent with faulty fuel injector and horrid gas smell with engine light requiring tow to dealer, I was told cooling system/thermostat had shorted out. I had to pay for diagnostics and repair of $300. Was told this was unrelated 2 recall
