Vertical headlights, highly detailed grille. Couldn't be anything but a Cadillac. Dramatic stance enhanced by 20-inch wheels.
Much sharper corners and creases than the Audi or Lincoln. The Lincoln MKS is very tall for a sedan. Massive front overhang, baleen grille.
The Audi A8 strongly resembles the compact A4, except it's much larger. Short nose and long tail make for intriguing proportions.
Long sweeping roofline extends nearly to vertical tail lamps that recall the fins of the '50s. Tail looks especially long from this angle. Various lines not fully resolved at base of pillar.
A lot going on, much of it covered in leather. Also available with dark gray seats. Audi sets the benchmark for tasteful interior styling.
Some materials very good, others barely acceptable in a Ford Focus. Real wood looks fake. Materials top-notch, some fits (such as the glove compartment) could be tighter and more precise.
Beautiful displays and control panels, but could be easier to use. Instruments in sport mode. I preferred the three-dial layout.
Even Basic (shown) and Simple modes are highly customizable. A boost gauge can be selected in all. Comfortable and supportive driver seat.
When trying to adjust the recliner I often hit the lumbar adjuster behind it by mistake. Midsize shoulder room, but abundant legroom.
A lot more trunk room than in an Audi, if not quite as much as in the Lincoln MKS. A pair of turbos fixes the low-end torque deficit.
