Brought vehicle in immediately when it was making the noise very bad and had mechanic ride with me to ensure they heard it. Mechanic determined noise coming from steering/gear rack. Inspected fluid and found metal debris in fluid indicative of internal part failure. Removed and replaced steering gear/rack and reassembled. aligned front tend.
