Original Delco/Delphi AC compressor failed. Delphi now offers only rebuilt units. Debris clogged condenser, orifice tube and accumulator/hose assembly. All were replaced as precaution. Luckily, evaporator & expansion valve escaped harm. 2nd Serpentine belt and hydraulic/spring belt tensioner asm. replaced. Both only last about 50K miles. AC compressor install was good time to do this. Secondary function of tensioner is dampening shock of AC comp'r clutch engage/disengage cycles. |

Four Tokico HP Blue strut assemblies, installed by same dealer in 2004 on our (now-totaled) 1999 Prizm, installed on this Prizm. Four-wheel thrust-center alignment performed also.
