After days of troubleshooting they found what I had told them, the door latch sensor on the drivers side was fried and it could not tell if the door was open or closed. Consequently the smart window kept going up and down a 1/4 inch like it normally does when you open and close the door. Even with the car off it was going up and down, eventually killing a battery so I had to buy a new one.
