2011 Honda Insight 4dr Hatch

98-horsepower 1.3L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD

2000 mi "TIGHTEN FUEL CAP" msg 7 days after latest fill-up. Tightened fuel cap. Next day "CHECK EMISSION SYSTEM" msg instead and remained on 1 week. Dealer could not find any issue - reset.
48000 mi OIL CHANGE AND TRANSMISSION FLUSH. DEALER RECOMMENDED TO GET 4 NEW TIRES. AFTER A FEW DAYS NOTICED A STRANGE BEEPING/BUZZING SOUND AFTER I START THE CAR AND JUST AFTER I SHUT DOWN ENGINE. BEEPING/BUZZING SOUND LAST ABOUT 1-2 SECS THEN STOPS

79000 mi

Car began throwing intermittent dash HUD warnings to "tighten gas cap," then "check emissions system," around 75000 miles. OBDII reader pulled code P0456, very small evap leak. DIY replaced gas cap with OEM Honda cap, car threw code again within two weeks of replacement. Dealer replaced evap valve in tank. Issue appears to have been resolved so far and repair was cost effective but part took absolutely forever to come in. Car did not suffer in driveability nor did it obviously suffer in gas mileage during the wait.
54000 mi Dash light indicated "engine" problem. Dealer initially said that hybrid battery should be replaced. Then Corporate said "No!" - upgrade car software first. Did that, and am monitoring mileage to see if it changes.
33000 mi Fix = Replaced a single Wheel Pressure Sensor. Flagging SMS SYSTEM intermittently (in cooler temps) Dealer suspected damage when tires were changed. (not by Honda, of course) The sensor was NOT damaged. Replaced under warantee - $0! Happy
20500 mi Engine is not always stopping when the car has stopped at a light, stop sign, etc. Dealer blew it off and said that it wouldn't stop in cold weather. Always did last winter, dealer. What a joke!
61000 mi IMA battery software re-flash from Honda.
